FSE 2026 is committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and accessible environment for all participants. We recognize that attendees may have a variety of accessibility, accommodation, and support needs, and we encourage participants to contact the organizing committee if there is anything we can do to support their participation in the conference.
Venue Accessibility
Concordia University
The conference venue is accessible through multiple entrances and routes. Participants with mobility needs should note that the Guy-Concordia Metro Station currently does not have elevator access. We recommend using Atwater Station, which is equipped with elevators and accessible pathways to the venue.
Lunch Venue (Grey Nuns Building)
The lunch venue provides accessible entrances and routes for participants with mobility needs.
Conference Banquet
The banquet venue can accommodate participants with mobility requirements and other accessibility needs. Some arrangements may require advance notice. Attendees who require accommodations are encouraged to contact the organizing committee as early as possible.
Requesting Accommodations
We understand that accessibility needs vary and may not always be captured during registration. Participants who require accommodations or support are encouraged to contact the organizing committee at any time before or during the conference.
Examples of accommodations that may be available include:
-
Mobility and physical accessibility support
-
Seating arrangements
-
Dietary accommodations
-
Assistance related to visual, hearing, neurodiversity, or other accessibility needs
-
Religious or cultural considerations
-
Access to quiet spaces
-
Other individual accommodation requests
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests and work with participants to identify appropriate solutions.
When requesting accommodations, it is helpful to provide:
-
A brief description of the accommodation or support needed
-
Whether the accommodation is needed for conference sessions, meals, social events, transportation, or other activities
-
Any information that may assist us in making appropriate arrangements
Participants are welcome to share only the information they are comfortable disclosing. All information will be treated confidentially and used solely for the purpose of arranging accommodations and accessibility support.
To facilitate planning, participants are encouraged to submit accommodation requests as early as possible. Requests received by June 26, 2026, will allow the organizing committee additional time to coordinate arrangements.
