Shibbir Ahmed is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Texas State University. His research sits at the intersection of Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science, with a focus on engineering trustworthy AI systems. He has led multiple projects to develop reliable deep learning systems. Dr. Ahmed’s contributions have appeared in prestigious venues such as ICSE, FSE, EMSE, ISSTA, and TDS. He has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Research Excellence Award, Teaching Excellence Award, and competitive grants from SIGSOFT and SIGPLAN. In addition to his research, Dr. Ahmed actively serves the scientific community as a regular reviewer for leading journals (TSE, TOSEM, EMSE) and an external reviewer for conferences, including ASE and MSR.
